Het National Cycle Chopped Heavy Duty windscherm is een hoogwaardige oplossing voor motorrijders die hun cruiser of custom motor willen voorzien van effectieve windbescherming zonder afbreuk te doen aan de uitstraling van de motor. Dit heldere windscherm is de lagere uitvoering van het populaire Touring Heavy Duty windscherm en combineert een sportieve custom look met uitstekend rijcomfort tijdens zowel korte als lange ritten.
Het scherm is vervaardigd uit 4 mm dik Lexan® polycarbonaat en voorzien van een speciale krasbestendige harde coating. Dit materiaal staat bekend om zijn uitzonderlijke slagvastheid, duurzaamheid en optische helderheid. Dankzij de vervormingsvrije constructie blijft het zicht op de weg optimaal terwijl rijwind, regen, insecten en opspattend vuil effectief worden verminderd.
Door de lagere Chopped-uitvoering behoudt de motor zijn klassieke lijnenspel en ontstaat een strakkere custom uitstraling dan bij een traditioneel hoog toerwindscherm. Hierdoor is dit scherm bijzonder populair bij bezitters van cruisers, custom motoren en klassieke tourmotoren.
Het windscherm beschikt over een ABE-goedkeuring voor gebruik op de openbare weg. Voor montage is een passende National Cycle bevestigingsset vereist. Het scherm is compatibel met de National Cycle montagekits 513661, 513662 en 513663, welke afzonderlijk besteld dienen te worden.
